European Union Launches Investigation Into Apple, Google, and Meta

European regulators are investigating Apple, Google, and Meta for failing to comply with the EU’s new Digital Markets Act.

The sweeping law is aimed at preventing companies from stifling competition by selling digital products exclusively through their app stores.

Authorities said Monday they suspect tech companies “fall short” of proper compliance.
