Fans Slam Arctic Monkeys’ Glastonbury Set

Fans are slamming Arctic Monkeys’ highly anticipated Glastonbury set.

The band took the stage Friday night after the mystery band ‘The Churnups,’ who turned out to be The Foo Fighters.

Frontman Alex Turner, who has recently recovered from acute laryngitis, sang many of the songs at a much slower tempo than normal, with some fans complaining that it made it difficult to sing along.

One Twitter user posted a video of a man in the crowd yawning with the caption “sums it up.”

Another said the band ‘butchered’ the show, while others nostalgically longed for the time the band was “good.”
