It’s Friday, so you know that means more music from the “Foo Files,” with the Fighters delivering a new EP for your streaming pleasure.
The week’s release brings a collection of tracks recorded around the time of their full album, The Colour And The Shape in 1997.
Featured on 00979725 is a slowed-down version of “Up In Arms,” “See You” done acoustically, the single mix of “Walking After You,” and “Dear Lover,” plus a live cut of “I’ll Stick Around” from the Apollo in Manchester, England and a cover of Killing Joke’s “Requiem” performed at the BBC.
The Foos have two US festival dates on the schedule in the new year, plus three European stops during the summer.
How has the Foo Fighters’ sound changed since these early days?
