Ford Recalling Explorers Over Axle Bolt Issue

Ford is recalling over 238,000 Explorer SUVs over an issue that could let them roll away.

The issue is a faulty rear axle bolt that can cause the driveshaft to disconnect, or let the vehicle roll away while it’s in park.

It applies to certain Explorers with model years 2020 through 2022.

Affected owners will be notified by letter starting Nov. 6th.
