‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ Tops Box Office

Ghostbusters is back on top at the box office.

The sequel Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire grabbed the #1 spot with $45 million in its opening weekend.

Dune: Part Two was second with $17.6 million, followed by Kung Fu Panda 4 in third with $16.8 million.

The Sydney Sweeney-starring horror film Immaculate opened in 4th place with $5.3 million, while Arthur the King rounded out the top five with $4.4 million.

Does the success of Ghostbusters, Dune, and Kung Fu Panda suggest that Hollywood is back to cranking out nonstop sequels?
