Halloween Spending Set to Reach Record Levels

Halloween season is here and consumer spending power is proof!

According to a new report from the National Retail Federation, Americans are expected to spend a record amount on the holiday.

Americans are expected to spend $12.2 billion to celebrate this year.

This is almost $2 billion more than last year’s total.

“More Americans than ever will be reaching into their wallets and spending a record amount of money to celebrate Halloween this year,” said NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay in a statement. “Consumers will be shopping early for festive decor and other related items and retailers are prepared with the inventory to help customers and their families take part in this popular and fun tradition.”
