Incumbent Governor Andy Beshear Wins Second Term in Kentucky

The voters of Kentucky have spoken: Andy Beshear will remain Governor of the Bluegrass State.

Beshear and Republican Attorney General, Daniel Cameron, duked it out in a heavily watched, expensive, and hard-fought battle.

Other notable results from the Kentucky general election include:

• Republican Russell Coleman won his race for attorney general, defeating Democrat Pamela Stevenson.
• Republican Mark Metcalf was victorious for Kentucky treasurer, over Democrat Michael Bowman.
• Incumbent Republican Michael Adams won reelection for Kentucky secretary of state, beating out Democrat Charles “Buddy” Wheatley.
