Jesse Leach Insisted On Auditioning To Re-Join Killswitch Engage

When Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach re-joined the band in 2012, he insisted on auditioning for the part – even though he was their original frontman.
Leach says the band offered him the gig after singer Howard Jones left, but he “asked to be put on the list of people to try out” in order to “prove myself”. He ended up getting the gig, of course.
Killswitch Engage is currently touring Europe and plans to release a new album sometime next year.
