Legendary Louisville Basketball Coach, Denny Crum, Dies at 86

Denny Crum, the legendary basketball coach who led the University of Louisville to two NCAA championships and six Final Four appearances, passed away at the age of 86.

Crum, who coached at Louisville from 1971 to 2001, is widely regarded as one of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time. During his tenure, he guided the Cardinals to numerous victories, including the memorable 1980 NCAA championship win against UCLA.

In addition to his successful coaching career, Crum was a beloved figure in the Louisville community, and his impact on the sport and the university will be felt for generations to come.
