Lorde Says “F***” the Supreme Court” at Glastonbury

Lorde is one of the many artists voicing their anger over the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

During her set at Glastonbury on Sunday, the singer gave a speech between songs to share her feelings.

‘Welcome to sadness,” Lorde said. “The temperature is unbearable until you face it. Wanna hear a secret girls? Your bodies were destined to be controlled and objectified since before you were born. That horror is your birthright.”

“But here’s another secret,” she continued. “You possess strength. That wisdom is also your birthright. I ask you today to make exercising that wisdom your life’s work because everything depends on it. F*** the Supreme Court.”
