Missing Sub Passengers Believed Dead After Debris Found From Likely Implosion

Debris from the imploded sub was found on Thursday, all but confirming that the five passengers aboard were killed.

Coast Guard officials say the mysterious ‘banging noises’ picked up by sonar devices were not related to the missing Titanic sub.

The noises were detected on Tuesday, happening every 30 minutes.  But, Coast Guard officials say the sub’s implosion was not picked up by any listening devices, despite the “significant” sound the sub’s implosion would have generated.
