Netflix is getting some negative attention due to some recent job postings related to artificial intelligence, despite the technology’s potential future use being a major reason for both the writer and actor strikes.

One A.I.-related job for Netflix boasts a salary range of $300,000-$900,000.

Another listing for a Machine Learning Scientist lists a salary range of $150,000-$750,000, who would “develop algorithms that power high-quality localization,” among other responsibilities.

Netflix’s website states, “We invest heavily in machine learning to continually improve our member experience and optimize the Netflix service end-to-end.”

How long do you expect the writer and actor strikes to last? Will their unions get fair deals on residues and the use of A.I.?
