New Coke Is Returning For ‘Stranger Things’ Tie-In

Remember the 1980’s marketing flop that was ‘New Coke‘? Well, it’s back.

Coca-cola is bringing New Coke back as a tie-in with Season 3 of Stranger Things, which will be set in 1985, the same year the revamped cola made its disastrous debut before being pulled after only 79 days.

A limited supply of New Coke – which was billed at the time as sweeter than traditional Coke – will hit stores later this week.
