Nickelback To Be Inducted Into Canadian Music Hall Of Fame

While Nickelback may have fallen out of favor with some U.S. rock fans, the same can’t be said for fans in the band’s home country, Canada.

Nickelback has been tapped for induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced Monday. The induction is set to take place during the Juno Awards on March 13th.

Since winning their first Juno Award in 2001 for Best New Group, Nickelback has gone on to rack up a total of 12 honors at the annual ceremony. The band is also scheduled to perform at the upcoming awards show, which will mark their sixth Juno performance.
