OpenAI Connects ChatGPT to the Internet

OpenAI has announced the addition of plug-ins to ChatGPT, a chatbot that can now access live data from the web.

The plug-ins allow the bot to interact with external sites such as Expedia and Instacart, and can even take actions on behalf of the user.

OpenAI has implemented several safeguards to ensure the security of the plug-ins, and is initially limiting access to a small number of developers and ChatGPT Plus users.
