Panera Bread Enters Chicken Sandwich Wars With Healthier Option

Yes, the so-called “chicken sandwich wars” are still happening. The latest contender: Panera Bread.

Panera is switching things up, though, by selling a healthier option to the typical fried chicken sandwich.

The sandwich will feature a marinated and seasoned chicken breast on a brioche bun.

The regular version of the sandwich will also include aioli, parmesan crisps, and greens, while the spicy version includes aioli, pickle chips, and spicy Buffalo sauce.
