“Tenet” was finally released in the US and easily took the top spot over the Labor Day weekend.

The Christopher Nolan thriller took in$20.2 million despite just 70% of movie theaters in the US being open.  “Tenet” was originally scheduled to be released on July 17th but was delayed several times due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Last weekend’s top movie “The New Mutants” fell to second with $2.9 million while “Unhinged” fell a spot to third with $1.8 million.
