People Are Trying Rogaine To Grow A Better Beard

Wish you could grow a lush quarantine beard but find that after several months only a few scraggly strands are poking through?
Facial follically challenged Reddit users have turned to hair-loss product Rogaine in what is being called “DIY beard biohacking” by Men’s Health.
The theory is if it can regrow a mane up top, it must work for your cheeks and chin. Well, potentially, say doctors.
Several experts told the magazine that off-label use of topical minoxidil, the main drug in Rogaine, should safely work, although more studies are needed. The most common side effect could be skin irritation.
Did you grow a quarantine beard? How does it compare to your friends? Have you shaved it off yet?
