The Rock/Metal/Alternative Grammy categories were handed out during the Premiere Ceremony on Sunday (Feb. 4).
The Grammys went to:
- Best Rock Performance: boygenius – “Not Strong Enough”
- Best Metal Performance: Metallica – “72 Seasons”
- Best Rock Song: “Not Strong Enough – “Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers & Lucy Dacus, songwriters (boygenius)
- Best Rock Album: Paramore – ‘This Is Why’
- Best Alternative Music Performance: Paramore – “This Is Why”
- Best Alternative Music Album: boygenius – ‘The Record’
