Saliva Frontman Almost Did The Rap From “Bring Me To Life”

Former Saliva frontman Josey Scott says he was nearly part of one of the biggest rock songs of the 2000’s.

Scott says he had been asked to sing the rap part on Evanescence’s 2003 breakthrough hit “Bring Me To Life”.

Scott told The Metal Summit “our schedules were mixed up or something, and I didn’t get to do it. So the kid from 12 Stones did it.”  (That would be Paul McCoy, btw).

Scott says he doesn’t hold a grudge about missing out: “I definitely have a chill go up my spine every time I hear that song.”
