The CDC says people 6 months of age and older should get a flu shot.
You should get your flu shot as soon as it is available which is usually in September.
By getting it in September you are giving your body time to build up immunity.
If you don’t get it in September it is suggested you aim for the end of October.
The idea is the earlier the better but of course, get it when you can.
If you happen to need a Covid booster shot you can get both the booster and flu shot at the same time.
