The Zeppelin Song That Inspired John Frusciante

Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante says a lesser-known Led Zeppelin song helped turn his life around.

In the 90’s, Frusciante left the Peppers, quit music, and fell deep into heroin addiction.

He says Zeppelin’s cover of the blues classic “I Can’t Quit You Baby” inspired him to pick up his guitar again and re-join the Chili Peppers for the Californication album.
