Trent Reznor Lashes Out At Streaming Services

Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor says streaming platforms have “mortally wounded” artists.

In an interview with GQ, Reznor said the “terrible” payout makes being an artist “unsustainable”.

He adds “It’s great if you’re Drake, and it’s not great if you’re Grizzly Bear… I think that’s bad for art.”

Should streaming platforms be forced to pay better royalty rates?  Do you listen to music with streaming apps, or still listen to physical albums?
