Video Surfaces of Soundgarden Covering Nirvana at Lollapalooza ‘92

Video of Soundgarden covering the Nirvana hit “Smells Like Teen Spirit” has resurfaced.

The cover happened at Lollapalooza 1992 at the tour’s July 22 stop in Bremerton, Washington.

At one point in the video, Chris Cornell says to the crowd, “I saw somebody throw their pants in the air. You can all take your pants off and throw them in the air. I think that would be f*cking cool. Everybody, remember you’ve got to take your shoes off first.”
