The more these stories come out, the more people are going to start having second thoughts on purchasing those popular DNA test kits. Just ask one Reddit user.
Posting to the site’s “Am I The A**hole” forum, a woman who had bought the item as a Christmas gift for her boyfriend was told by his mom not to put it under the tree until his parents had a chat with him first.
Turns out, the son was never told that his parents used a sperm donor to start their family.
The unnamed Redditor now doesn’t know what to do, adding that the secret knowledge is affecting their relationship.
Have you taken a DNA test? What did you learn? What would you do in this woman’s situation?
