Rumors of a looming sale of WWE were confirmed over the weekend, with the announcement that it would be merging with UFC.

The new company will be owned by UFC parent company Endeavor, with a combined value of more than $21 billion.

Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel will lead the company, with Vince McMahon remaining as WWE executive chairman and Dana White as UFC president.

The deal will need approval from regulators and is scheduled to close later this year.

What will this mean for WWE and UFC?  Does UFC make the most sense as a buyer for WWE?
